An Update

So now it really is almost Christmas- exciting, but not as exciting as a sale popping up fresh on my (well Dan's) computer- mine is, surprise surprise, nearly dead again. Honestly, every single morning I can't get to the computer fast enough, and throughout the day even... well it's turning into an addiction. Knowing that those orders will then be the property of someone else, to send to their friends or families, or even frame up around their house, is so very exciting to me.

Dan asked me yesterday what my New Year's resolutions are, and I panicked a bit. I hadn't really thought about it yet, and I don't want to take on something too hard, or not hard enough. I want to push myself, yet feel confident that I can do it- otherwise they'll be down the drain like resolutions are known for. Although, I must say- I was proud of keeping last year's- which was to improve on correspondence.

I thought that maybe I should focusing on following some of the advice from my own cards? Something like Danny Kaye says, "Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on you can," from our Life is Beautiful collection (View/order here: ) I like that- and I'll take it, but I wanted something more concrete too. So I decided on- learn to separate your personal life from your EmmyBo Originals life.
What are your resolutions, any good suggestions out there?

  1. Instead of just waiting for sales to come to me, I'm starting a new line of product with 7 other team members, a collective, a high end doggie bling gift bag, it is exciting to work on this! I'm stretching my wings, never have worked with other artisans before! It's fun! This is my big project fo the year!

  2. That's an excellent way to start the new year! Thanks for sharing :-)

  3. Goal setting has never been my strong suit, much like resolution making. LOL. I think I'll have to work on that.
